Mr. Morrell earned a degree in insurance law from the University of Toronto and Computer Science from Ryerson Polytechnic Institute (Toronto). He has over 30 years in team management, product development and international marketing experience through management positions in firms including IBM, Commercial Union Assurance, Tecnica Resources, Keyword Office Technologies, Resource Link Software, Smart File Technologies, Data Shapers, Leadstone Group and now Data2info.
Frankie is an established artist with a BFA degree from ACAD and Urban Land Economics from the University of British Columbia. She was on the Board and a Founding Member of Calgary Art Academy. Much traveled in pursuit of art, Frankie brings a unique perspective to Board.
As a painter and printmaker who has exhibited his art nationally and internationally, Harry has also curated and juried many exhibitions for various public galleries and societies. He is a Professor Emeritus of Art at the University of Calgary and founded the Calgary Contemporary Arts Society and established the Triangle Gallery of Visual Arts.
Katie is a recipient of numerous awards and distinctions: an LLD fromthe University of Calgary, the Allied Arts Award, and recognition from the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada for her contributions to the arts. She is a co-founder of the KO Arts Centre, a practicing sculptor and educator at ACAD. She has exhibited her work throughout Canada and internationally in China, Greece, and Poland, to name a few.
He is a graduate of the University of Calgary with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGA) and holds Journeyman Machinist and Welder Certificates.
His current position is President at Solex Thermal Science Inc. He joined Solex in 2010 and took on the role of Solex’s President in 2014, driving the company’s overall growth and business operations.
A former writer for The Washington Post and The Economist, among other international news organizations, Ricardo brings more than 15 years of combined economic development and strategic corporate development experience with multinationals, multilateral financing institutions, and nonprofit organizations. He is currently Senior Practice Advisor, Business Strategy and Corporate Communications with Washington DC-based International Advisory, Products, and Systems.
Don owns and operates Bimart Accounting and Consulting that specializes in implementing accounting and reporting systems for businesses and non-profits. With more than 10 years of successful experience, Don adds an analytical mind to the operations of the Board.
