Calgary’s Best Kept Secret

Kiyooka Ohe Arts Centre + Sculpture Park

A Living Art Legacy in Springbank, Alberta

Located West of Calgary, in the community of Springbank on 20 acres of parkland, at 244034 Horizon View Road, the Kiyooka Ohe Arts Centre and Sculpture Park has a simple proposition: to give back to the community by establishing a contemporary arts facility dedicated to the artist and to the aesthetic experience of contemporary visual arts that will contribute to the enrichment of Calgary’s cultural identity and Springbank’s community pride.

The Centre will enhance the overall quality of life of our community, safeguard its pristine environment, and help recognize the role of culture as an economic driver. We hope to contribute to the development of a more cohesive arts community in Calgary by increasing audiences and support for the arts and by providing new opportunities for more offerings.

The Kiyooka Ohe Arts Centre

As a non-profit, public art Centre, its lectures, symposia, outreach workshops, programs (ie. residencies and studio space for select artists) and exhibitions will be designed to educate and entertain the public and artists alike.

Nestled perfectly in the Alberta Prairies.

The Kiyooka Ohe Arts Centre believes in caring for the land and environment on which it is placed. Along with the Centre’s  structures the property encompasses 20-Acres of wetlands, prairie, and sculpture park pathways.
