Mission and Vision

We conceived the Centre as a non-profit public arts centre dedicated to the research, exhibition, education and documentation of contemporary visual arts.

Vision:
The Kiyooka Ohe Arts Centre will operate as a creative art laboratory in a natural environment that fosters experiential and interdisciplinary learning for all communities.

Mission:
To become a non-profit public arts centre for contemporary visual arts in a natural environment.

Our values reflect the founders’ original conception:

  • Preserve the land
  • Engage the local community
  • Engage arts groups and working artists
  • Maintain good stewardship of KOAC on behalf of the stakeholders
  • Support research
