Katie’s Cutups

This project takes inspiration from Katie Ohe’s successful youth collage workshop, working with a series of her silkscreen prints. Each print in the series represents a year’s contemplation on a concept and her sculptural work. The two-dimensional graphic shapes and bright colours in these prints inspired the idea to make them into workable collage kits.

Participants will be able to interact with Katie digitally at agreed-upon virtual meetings, and in the end, she will invite them to share their collages with the community via social media and appear in a virtual KO Arts Centre show at a later date.
